So if you go by my Wikipedia page, you’ll see I am Australian born and presently living in Silicon Valley.

In 2013, I co-founded BetterWorks, which is an enterprise software company dedicated to innovating the field of performance management. We have hundreds of customers four years later, have been funded by Kleiner Perkins and Emergence Capital and are getting close to a team size of 100 amazing employees.

I am now focused on healthtech, a sector that holds immense promise to improve lives, including those in our most vulnerable communities. I am excited to identify, advise, and invest in the next crop of entrepreneurs in this burgeoning field.

Previously, I co-founded Badgeville in 2010, which is a company focused on driving user behavior and engagement via gamification. This may also be of interest: interview about gamification. Badgeville was acquired by publicly traded Callidus in 2016 and then Callidus itself was acquired by SAP in 2018. The Badgeville product lives on!

I’ve had the great honor to work with and invest in many amazing startups/teams in the last 18 years of living in Silicon Valley. Among the best known include Palantir Technologies, RelateIQ (acquired by Salesforce.com), Addepar, Gusto, Blend Labs, and WebEx (acquired by Cisco).

I live with my wife and two sons in Palo Alto.
